The purpose of setting up an account is to enable TOT Operators to submit and track their online TOT registration applications. Once the TOT Certificate has been issued, this portal is no longer needed to be accessed. Please see below for additional useful information:

• TOT Account Updates: If an Operator needs to update their TOT Certificate, please submit the completed Application for Transient Occupancy Registration Certificate (opens in new window) to the Office of the City Treasurer at sdtot@sandiego.gov.

• Online TOT or TMD Payments: To make a payment for TOT or TMD, please visit https://webapps.sandiego.gov/TOTPay/ (opens in new window).
